Summer Brioche Cardigan

This oversized Brioche Cardigan, worked in a cotton blend, is the perfect softness you want on your skin on a breezy day at the beach or a cool summer night out. It’s a project for the advanced knitter worked from the top down. Starting at the center back you work the collar. Then you pick up and cast on stitches and work the back and the front separately before connecting front and back and working the body. The button band is simultaneously worked in ribbing with smaller needles while the body is being worked in Brioche on bigger needles. Lastly stitches are being picked up around the armhole for the sleeves.
