Product Description
Snúru is Icelandic for cable and this hat design has twisted cable stitches that flow into a star-shaped crown. Did you know that the first settlers on Iceland navigated there using only the sun and stars.
The pattern has both charted and written instructions. The hat has been designed to fit head size 22-24 inches as a loose beanie fit but you can drop a needle size and make the fit smaller/tighter if you wish. You can also opt to add a pompom to finish...I think pompoms rock!
The sample was knit in Dublin Dye DK. A substitute yarn is shown below.
