With airy colourwork and light lace inspired by the first petals of crocuses peeking through the snow, this beret is designed especially for those new to stranded colourwork, and includes some general tips and hints for working Fair Isle. Techniques used include knit & purl, cast on & bind off; increasing (m1R; YO) & decreasing (k2tog); working in the round on circular needles; working small circumferences in the round on DPNs/with magic loop/with two circulars; working from charts; and stranded colourwork (tips and advice included!)
