Product Description
I was asked for a beanie pattern with snowboarders on them. So here you are.
The snowboarding beanie can be knit from any 4-ply sock yarn or Acrylic yarn of similar weight. I combined sock yarns from different manufacturers (Buttinette söckli (black and off-white), Fischer (light blue), Opal (darker blue and yellow)).
It has a corrugated ribbing in blues and white, followed by a little fence and a band of trees and finally a band of snowboarders.
In the upper part of the beanie there are little snow hills and a snowboarder in flight. You can also see the splashing snow from his jump! At the top ist the sun! This is a great day for snowboarding!
For bigger sizes you can also use 5-ply yarn and/or go up one needle size or two (3.25 - 3.5 mm)
The beanie is a bit bigger than my usual beanie patterns.
You can also leave out the sun at the top and finish the top in light blue and instead end it with a yellow or blue, white, black pompon.
I had much fun drafting and kni
