Sea Crystals Blanket

For the Sea Crystals blanket the mosaic technique is used. Even though mosaic crochet looks very complicated, it certainly isn't that complicated. Actually, it's a surprisingly easy way to create colorful patterns.

A mosaic pattern consists only of single crochets and double crochets. For the border, slip stitches are added. Sounds simple right!?

With this mosaic pattern all rows are worked from right to left. And attach a new thread every round. And above all, don't be afraid of all the threads to show up. These are concealed at the end between a double edge.

Is mosaic crochet and double borders new to you? No worries. With this pattern you will find a photo tutorial in which the mosaic technique is explained step by step.

The blanket I crocheted is approximately 100 x 150 cm. The pattern clearly describes how to adjust this to any desired size.
