Santa Claus Stocking

Nothing better than a vintage stocking brought into the new generation. The original design used felt to embellish, so I updated it and charted it to match my other original designs. This is from the sixties and was fun to create. This adorable Santa is sure to be a keepsake for any recipient.

Pattern includes: Written stocking instructions, alphabet chart, hints and a color chart of the design. Name chart up to six letters

Intermediate knitting. Need knowledge of basic intarsia. Gauge is 18 sts and 24 rows =4” No gauge required finished size approximately 7” x 23” Knitted Flat and sewn up back seam

You may use any acrylic or wool. I prefer acrylic because of the stiffness and way it hangs. Any worsted weight yarn will work. If you would like help charting the name for free please contact me.
