Product Description
*A beach in Denmark called "Saltum," a gathering with friends, and a special yarn purchase all came together to inspire this design. Its eyelets evoke the waves rolling onto the shore at Saltum and its ridges suggest the ripples in the sand left by those waves. *
Knit in a soft, airy yarn, this accessory is warm but weighs little, so you can put it in your purse when not in use. The pattern, which is both fully written out and charted, has a pleasing rhythm and lends itself to any variations you may wish to make in the sequence and number of ridge and eyelet elements.

Lamana Como, 7 balls, 853yds/780m used in color 42M.
Yarn is very airy and listed as Sport/DK weight despite its meterage. Or any sport weight yarn: approx. 809-908yds (740-830m).
MATERIALS
US 5 (3.75 mm) 24” (60 cm) circular or straight needles.
GAUGE
In ridge pattern (21 stitches x 48 rows), blocked = 4” (10 cm). Gauge is not crucial.
