Product Description
The Ropework Hat features a twisted cabled rib edge that evolves into alternating panels of rope-like cables and plush, cabled motifs, separated by reverse stockinette. This hat is worked in the round, with cleverly placed decreases that form a star at the crown.
Finished Measurements 17”/44 cm brim circumference. 9”/23 cm height from base of ribbing to top center of crown. Measurements are taken after blocking. Fits average adult head sizes 20-21”/51-53 cm.
Yarn Approximately 210 yds/192 m of worsted weight yarn.
Needles Size US 7/4.5 mm and size US 5/3.75 mm: 16”/40 cm circular. Optional second US 5/3.75 mm 16”/40 cm circular needle for Provisional Cast On. 1 set of double-pointed needles, size US 7/4.5 mm.
Gauge 28 stitches and 28 rounds = 4”/10 cm on size US 7/4.5 mm needles in Body Chart after blocking.
