Quiet Afternoon Wrap

When the world’s needs are many and I am feeling depleted, an afternoon of quiet reflection helps make all well again. Those moments of refuge – often accompanied with knitting, a cup of tea, and music – do wonders for the soul.

This wrap receives its name in appreciation and thankfulness for those quiet afternoons. This wrap and its companion blanket, cowl, and socks are, themselves, much like those afternoons: gentle and beautiful.

A textured wrap with clean, geometric lines, this pattern will look best knit in a solid or tonal yarn. Due to its simple texture, this pattern is also easily customizable. Make the wrap longer or shorter by adding or omitting rows in groups of 24. Make the wrap wider or narrower by adding or omitting stitches from the center of the wrap in groups of 16.
