Pete the famous blue cat

This is a crochet PATTERN, not a finished item.

Instructions presented here are for the version with YELLOW shirt, but you can easily follow them to create a striped pyjama Pete or a coloured shoes one, or just an all-blue Pete. One thing that I absolutely love about this pattern is that minimum sewing is needed: for feet, for eyes (and for buttons in case you wish to add them).

Pattern is available in English and it is written in US crochet terminology. Skill level: intermediate. You need to know how to make a magic adjustable ring, single crochet, slip stitch, increase and decrease.

If you use the same yarn and materials, finished item measures about 30 cm (12 inches) in height.
