ONE PIECE SECURITY ‘BLANKIE’

This is such fun to knit! You start at the bottom of the blanket on a circular needle, then knit upwards, decreasing until you get to the top. The rest of the top stitches will become the teddy bear . Little children love to cuddle and carry the teddy blanket behind them as they walk. A good nap time blankie! Blanket is about 27 inches in diameter, just the right size for toddlers to carry with them. Bear is about 5 inches high. This make a very cute baby shower gift! Uses worsted weight yarns, and US # 9 knitting needles, in circular lengths of 36, 24 and a set of double pointeds to finish bear and top. A welcome gift this will be!
