Mustard Seed Jumperper

This is a jumper for young children, it’s baggy and squishy and soft. It is great garment to play outside in during spring or autumn or worn under a winter coat. The name comes from the bumpy texture that looks like seeds.

It has a beautiful tactile feel with bags of texture. It has a loose fit with wide sleeves and a baggy cropped fit, so it is easy to get on and off and comfy to wear.

You can customise with any colour scheme - I would recommend a darker colour for the contrasting sections around the cuffs, neck and bottom edge as these areas can get grubby. The stitch pattern is pretty simple and repeats so once you’ve mastered this it is a nice meditative make.
