Meet our Modern Bunny. She's cute, cuddly and totally adorable with a soft tummy, shapely ears and a sweet bunny face.
Easy enough for any knitter to create, this modern bunny is a good starter project for anyone interested in trying their hand at knitting a stuffed animal. This pattern is easy enough for beginner knitters but creates a show stopper bunny that everyone will love.
This Bunny can be knit all in one colour of yarn, but the pattern also offers alternate directions for knitting contrasting coloured paws on the arms, legs, ears and tail.
You will need ~120 m of medium weight yarn (one colour or a mix). With this yarn, use 4 mm (US size 6) needles. You will also need a small amount of yarn for embroidering the face, stuffing and a tapestry needle to sew your bunny together.
This pattern can be knit in any size yarn with accompanying needles. Use a size or two smaller needles than suggested by the yarn to allow for stuffing.
