This pattern is inspired by the beautiful ‘Fondaco Del Megio’, a palace built on the shores of the Grand Canal in Venice. The building itself has been used by the former Republic of Venice as the central state-storage for cereals and other goods…a sort of stately barn. The colorwork in the pattern wants to recall the beautiful stonework of the facade of the Fondaco del Megio, and with a redesigned afterthought heel, it makes it a super quick and very wearable sock.
