Mae West from the Vivacious Vest Collection by Annabelle Drumm.

A very close-fitting sleeveless vest/slipover knitted in two tone pin stripes from the bottom up with shaped faux bustier, neck and armhole binding. Stitches are knit, purl, rib and slip stitch. Basic chart reading, colour work and a small amount of sewing is required.

This vest is very flattering creating a two-tone optical illusion. The effect accentuates your curves and pinches the waist in a traditional hourglass silhouette. Looks great on all body shapes where the waist is smaller than the hips. Dress it up with a floaty, voluminous print blouse, wear it to work with a business shirt and wide leg linen trousers. Create a folk style with a peasant blouse or go informal with a slim fit long sleeved top when you’re feeling saucy. “Come up and see me sometime.” as Mae West would say.
