'Katie’ Hat, Mittens and Scarf

Katie is a set of matching scarf, hat and mittens, that knits up quickly with cosy, warm chunky/bulky yarn. There is a cheat’s cable throughout, i.e. it’s not knitted like a normal cable, so no cable needle needed. A lovely winter set - just right for that walk!

This is an easy/intermediate pattern; the scarf is easy, the hat and mittens are intermediate, but all instructions are written out line by line and there are photos to help with the cheat’s cable stitch, which is easy. Knitted FLAT and sewn up. Instructions are in ENGLISH with British/US terms.

Stylecraft Bellissima Chunky has been used - 5 x 100g balls - 678m/738yd for the set. But different chunky/bulky yarns should be ok - just check your tension/gauge. I have listed a different yarn below which should work well.
