Idris Baby Blanket in Aran or DK

A very easy pattern with a stylish design, using only knit and purl stitches to create a simple yet affective baby blanket that knits up quickly using Aran or DK yarn.

For the Aran blanket you will need approx. 250 grams of Aran baby yarn / #4 medium (490 metres approx.) and one pair of 6 mm UK size , (size 10 USA size) knitting needles.

For the DK blanket you will need approx. 175 grams of DK baby yarn / #3 medium (490 metres approx.) and one pair of 5 mm UK size , (size 8 USA size) knitting needles.

Approx. finished size of Aran blanket 26.5 x 31 inches. Approx. finished size of DK blanket 25 x 26 inches.
