Hot cross bun & Easter Egg covers

These are chocolate orange covers for a hot cross bun and an easter egg. They are both knitted in the flat using 3.25mm needles and dk wool. The patterns are for the beginner friendly, so easy to make. The easter egg has a striped effect or you could knit it in one colour. I've used for the stripes, Style craft special dk in pastel shades. For the hot cross bun I've James C Brett super value dk, in 2 beiges and Rowan Felted tweed in ginger dk wool. For the crosses I've used King Cole Glitz in Polar White and for the fruit effects I've used black, brown and ginger wool. 2mm double pointed needles were used to make I cords for the crosses on the bun and for the pink bow on the easter egg design.
