Finished measurements: Small size 25” (64cm) long and 6.5” (17cm) wide. Large 30” (77cm) long and 6.5” (17cm) wide.
This cowl is knitted in the round in stranded color work. It is knitted in one piece. The cowl is folded in half and finished by using the bind off I-cord technique thus joining the two layers together creating the reversible look.
It works perfectly for the Dream in color yarn Classy (it feels just right).
However if you decide to use different yarn I wanted to mention that not every worsted yarn has the same thickness and some might be a bit too heavy for the pattern, in that case I would suggest to consider lighter weight yarn.

Materials and Tools
Yarn: Dream in Color Classy Worsted, 100% Superwash Merino Wool, is the specified yarn for this project. The yarn is worked at a worsted weight. Two skeins are required: one skein in Crying Dove (#01) and one skein in Miami Red (#34). Each skein provides 250 yards per 4 ounces. Total yardage needed is approximately 430–440 yards for the Small size and 480–490 yards for the Large size.
Needles and Notions: Circular knitting needles measuring 24 inches in length and US#5/3.75mm gauge are recommended, along with double-pointed needles (DPN) in the same size for working smaller circumferences. Crafters may substitute their preferred needles suitable for knitting in the round. Additional notions include a yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, and at least one stitch marker for tracking pattern repeats and round beginnings.
