GISÈLE Top

The GISÈLE top is a light and airy tank top made from a summery cotton-linen yarn. The simple top has a nice

loose fit and is perfect for hot days. It also looks great when paired with light blouses, for those who like a slightly

more “dressed-up” look.

The top is worked top-down, so the length can be adjusted to suit. The front and back are each worked separately

back and forth, down to the bottom of the armholes, starting with the back, then the front is joined directly.

The body is worked in stockinette stitch in the round and finished with a folded hem. Finally, stitches are picked

up around the neckline and armholes and worked in stockinette stitch to create a rolled edge.

Techniques used: Provisional cast-on, left- and right leaning increases (knitwise and purlwise), picking up stitches

along side edges, whip stitch. All techniques used are explained in the instructions or under “Terms &
