The lace patterning of the Gardenia Stole was inspired by angel wings and peacock feathers. The stole is worked fl at in two pieces, starting with the lace edges, and then grafted in the center using Kitchener stitch. The merino-silk laceweight yarn creates an elegant drape, even while held double throughout the project.
