Embrace

Embrace is a warm and comforting 'alpaca hug' of a shawl! Relaxing garter stitch and textural broken rib sections are worked from the top down to form a crescent shape shawl.

Yarn Adagio Mills Alpaca 8 ply (100% Australian Alpaca; 104 yards/95 metres per 1.75 oz/50 grams). The sample is shown in: Colour A: Clouds, 1 ball. Colour B: Concerto, 1 ball. Colour C: Stormy Grey, 2 balls.

Gauge 14 stitches and 34 rows per 4 inches/10 cm in garter stitch after blocking. Gauge is not crucial but a different gauge will alter the finished size, drape and amount of yarn required.
