It’s beautifully soft and warm and lovely to knit. I gave it 5 stars! I’ve made two jumpers, one for each of my great nephews for Christmas, using the denim blue and a slip over for myself in soft green. I use Debbie Bliss Cashmerino a lot and that always washes well, so I am hoping this will be of the same quality. It’s much thicker but equally soft, and I love the colour range.
Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran never disappoints. This amazing shade of Apple green looks so beautiful when knitted up to cable and bobble patterns. I am a firm supporter of this yarn.
I have recently completed 2 Aran sweaters with this yarn. When it is good it is very good, but when it is bad, it is bad! The very first ball had 3 knots, lots of thick bits which could sometimes be teased off, and also complete breaks in the yarn. The rest of that batch were ok, mostly.
Debbie Bliss Cashmerino is a wonderful yarn to both knit and crochet with. It’s so lightweight yet lovely and warm. The stitch definition is good. It is easy on the hands.
I wondered why it wouldn’t break like wool- it’s tough until knitted when it’s nice soft.
Good soft feel to the wool as you would expect from a cashmere mix. The wool is a little bit uneven and sometimes there is a knot. Have experienced that now from several different brands and find it disappointing.
This yarn is soft and catches the light beautifully. The cashmere blend makes a soft, light fabric with a sleek finish. It knits up quickly and creates a lovely fabric. I am using it for a baby sweater.
The quality and colour of the yarn is excellent. It knits up beautifully. I use it for knitting up an Aran jumper for my daughter.
