Crochet Baby Blanket Unicorn Dreams

I have designed this easy baby blanket pattern with basic crochet stitches using US terminology of chains, single crochet and the puff stitch. It is not complicated but still has an overall affect of looking fabulous. For UK and Australian crocheters there is a stitch conversion for you. I have also included a handy written and visual tutorial on the puff stitch as well as changing colours throughout your project.

I used Epic Yarn and Colors 10 ply cotton yarn for this blanket with a stitch tension of 14SC x 13R to 10cm/4inch. Any 10 ply cotton or cotton blend yarn would work well for this project. You could also use an 8 ply yarn but keep in mind the finished size will be smaller than the sizing indicated below. I have provided three different sizes for this baby blanket in this pattern of small, medium and large. See sizing below for exact measurements.
