Comfy Soft Chemo Hat

Knit this comfortable chemo hat in a soft yarn for the cancer patient in need of a light weight hat or beanie. The hat is quick to knit side to side with a simple seam to sew. It can easily be finished in a day or two. The pattern features a fun to knit, textured lace stitch; is worked from the bottom up following a simple chart or written instructions and is finally finished with speedy decreasing rows top. It takes only a little yarn to work up.

Finished measurements unblocked are: 18” around x 7 ½” high. One size will fit most women.

Yarn: About 140 yards of baby sport weight yarn. Sample used about 140 yards of Bernat Baby Sport (less than 1 ball); 100% Acrylic; in color--apple orchard (variegated color); 893 yards/280 gram.

Needles and notions: 24”circular Knitting needle--size U.S.4.; yarn needle to sew side seam, close top of hat, and sew in ends.
