Cloud 9 Baby Bootees

Want to wow people at a baby shower? Give these luxuriously soft bootees to the mom-to-be. I like to bring a box of handknitted bootees in different yarns and sizes - it's always a hit at a shower with the angora set being the icing on the cake!

This is an easy to knit baby bootee pattern that will stay on the baby! The ribbons tie around the ankles and keep the bootee in place. Size US 7 needles are used for cast on and bind off; the size US 4 is used to knit the bootees.

Angora is a very soft, light, hollow fiber that cradles the wearer in warmth, yet feels llight as air. You can make these bootees out of other yarns of the same weight for everyday use also. I am available for knitting help through e-mail.
