Bud

A simple little pullover for your rosebud or little buddy. Based on my Sun Rose pattern which uses a simplified version of Barbara Walker's top-down seamless simultaneous set-in sleeve construction. Bud features a bit of stretchy garter at the shoulders, a simple garter-edged scoop neck, 3/4 sleeves, a slight a-line shape, and an easy garter edging with optional eyelets.

NO short rows! NO seams! NO provisional cast-on! NO finishing other than weaving in ends!

Skills required:

Long-tail cast-on

Backwards-loop, cable, or knitted-on cast-on

Increasing

Decreasing

Picking up stitches (just a few at the top of the sleeve caps)

Double yarn overs and single yarn overs (optional).

Estimated yardage (see schematic for sizing details): XS/3 month, (S/6 month, M/12 month, L/18 month, XL/24 month) – 250, (275, 300, 325, 350) yards
