- knit in the round, bottom up
- you will change to double pointed needles when too few stitch on your circular needle
- hat was not blocked, to allow the “accordion style” effect of the stitch pattern
- skills needed: knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, purl 2 stitches together, change color, knit-in-the-round
