Better Together is the first design in the You & I Shawl Series. It uses two of my Birthstone Yarns (Ruby and Diamond). Shawl is worked from the bottom up. Only one color is worked at a time on each row (no stranding).

You & I Shawl Series I've become increasingly obsessed with using color in my knitting. 2 or 3 colors makes even the simplest patterns and stitches so much fun! I caught the color bug back in the Spring when I started putting together the [SongLines collection][2]. Then in the Summer I had this idea to create [colorways based on the birthstone for each month][3]. This led to the crazy idea of 12 (lace) shawls to be released monthly in 2014, but it also led to the creation of the You & I shawl series. The You & I series is a 4-pattern shawl collection meant to bring together the Birthstone colors of you and a loved one, or two loved ones
