Baubles and Icicles (Plain)

The pattern includes full written instruction and chart for making baubles (small, medium, large) and icicles (small, large).

Using this pattern, you will be able to knit plain baubles and icicles, using solid colors, shiny or multicolored yarn at your chose. Along with that, they can serve as a great starting point for any further decoration.

The baubles are knitted in the round and shaped with knitting increases and decreases.

Baubles may be knit in any kind of yarn (any wool, cotton, acrylic etc), Bauble’s size depends on yarn, knitting tension and filling density.

Gauge: 30sts=10cm

Size of resulting baubles/icicle and how much yarn is needed for it:

Baubles: L: d~7.5cm, 27m; M: d~6.5cm, 18m; S: d~5.5cm, 15m

Icicles: L: d~3.5cm, 18m; S: d~2.5cm, 15m

Required skills: Cast on; Knit; Increases, Decreases; Work in the round (including small diameter)

Also need: Wool needle; Toy filling; Ribbon/thread to make a hanging loop
