Baby Hat Knitting Pattern | Two Needle "Corn Stitch" | 6 - 9 Months

With this detailed pattern, you can knit a baby hat featuring the distinctive “Corn” stitch pattern. I developed this design from scratch — from the initial idea and working notes to the finished item and detailed step-by-step instructions.

I first worked through each stage in practice and then documented it in the text and in real process photos. The design, construction, and original description of the knitting process are my own original work.

The hat is knitted flat on two regular needles. The crown is shaped with gradual decreases, after which the hat is joined with one back seam.
