Adrenaline Junkie

A self-striping yarn is a knitter’s cheap thrill – you can knit plain vanilla socks and still get a little jolt of joy every time to come to a color change. Low effort, high impact.

But what if you started craving a little more? Knitters are constantly looking for new ways to show off our favorite self-striping, so I set out to design something with even more of a kick. These socks are easy to knit and show off self-striping beautifully, but you also get to experience a rush as you drop stitches. That’s right, on purpose. The Adrenaline Junkie socks showcase lovely self-striping while keeping your knitting interest, and at the end, you get to drop stitches and watch long ladders open up. Come on, all the cool kids are doing it!
