70's Mohair Skirt

Version 1 of this simple skirt is knitted with 2 strands of yarn combined to double the warmth and cuddle factor! Worked in contrasting shades and Reverse Stocking stitch to create a heather effect.  Version 2 is worked in Garter stitch with a single strand of Mohair in a variegated shade. Both versions are suitable for a beginner knitter.  This skirt may be worn on the hips or waist, with the waistband folded to half width (for a shorter skirt) or extended to full width,  for a longer skirt.
