Two Strand DK Hat

This hat is really easy and quick to knit. It is actually more or less the same as my chunky hat, but it uses up left over DK yarn that isn’t enough to make one of my DK hats without deciding where to change colours! You do it by holding two strands of DK together and knitting as if it were one strand of yarn. I love the fact that the decreases for the top spiral in to the middle, it just adds a pretty bit of detail. You can of course do it with two strands of the same colour yarn, it’s just a little bit more difficult to make sure you get both strands on each stitch if you are working fast and not quite concentrating.
