Paintbox Yarns Simply DK

I’ve used Paintbox for many other projects. The yarn is consistently good, the colours are bright with a huge choice. It washes well and feels nice. I'm using it for a rainbow cardigan for my granddaughter; it's her third, and I just keep making them bigger. They have worn well, and I made them with extra length and turned back cuffs so they would last. Each cardigan has lasted about 18 months, which is good for a growing girl. I needed yarn to make a tree skirt for the Christmas tree at our village library. The Paintbox DK was perfect and now looks like drifts of snow for the tree. I used 4 balls of yarn, but will be making at least one more tree skirt for my family. It was lovely to work with, giving even tension and holding the shape well. The tree skirt is currently being stored along with the other hand crafted decorations for the library.

I already had several balls of different coloured yarns by Paintbox, and I wanted it to combine with those I already had to make my first ladies crocheted multicoloured cardigan. It is very soft and easy to work with, soft enough to use the same left over yarns to make a child's cardigan. I am very pleased. I haven't mastered the art of photos but when my grandson returns from his holiday I will ask him to take one for me and send it on.

I love the Paintbox Yarns Simply DK 10 Ball Value Pack because it is perfect for all my charity knitting, including hats for shoebox appeal and baby and children's jumpers for Malawi, and a good price. It knits up nicely.

I love the beautiful yarn to knit with and the extensive colour range. I'm using it for pale blue to knit an all in one for a newborn baby. I have not started yet, finishing another project first.

I love Paintbox. It's a lovely yarn and lots of colours to choose from. I'm using it for a crochet cardigan, and with leftovers, I crochet blankets for the hospital. It's lovely. It never puckers and it makes the crocheting look professional.

I'm using it for an alphabet/numbers blanket for my great great nephew due in January - the first boy in 3 generations! The theme for the nursery is Safari, so I'm using greens, neutrals, blues, etc. I am also knitting wild animals. A sloth is completed so far!

A friend recommended Paintbox DK yarn, and I ordered some. I was very happy with both the quality and value for money. It is nice to crochet with as it does not split like other yarns can. I have used 3 out of the 9 balls I plan to use. I love that there are plenty of colours to choose from in the Paintbox range. I chose these because of a similar blanket I saw. The yarn was nice to knit with however I came across a knot join half way through the ball. Apart from that i was pleased with the product.

Love Paintbox yarns, they are my first choice but wish they did a soft multicolour yarn. Never had a bad experience with Lovecrafts, extremely helpful and quick delivery.
