Tubbataha

This colorful semicircle shawl is begun with a provisional cast on and worked from neck to hem in a series of motifs progressing from solid to patterned to lacy. Slip stitch combinations provide visual texture and complexity here to mix separate colors in a coordinating set, but the piece may be worked in a dyed gradient or solid yarn.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.

Finished Size: 27(54) inches in circumference and 12 inches in depth (washed and blocked)

Yarn requirements: 100(200) yards each of Colors A (Dark Purple), B (Blue), C (Magenta), and D (Coral)
