Perfect for that 4th of July celebration! Makes a nice coaster or mat to place hot dishes on. Knit up lots of these and hang around the room for New Years Eve parties too! This is quite easy to knit on 2 needles, no double pointeds! Uses worsted weight yarns, knitting needles, US # 6 , in 24 or 29 circular. Short seam to sew, but it is not very noticeable with pattern stitch. Star measures 8 from point to point. You will think of many uses for this. Make lots of these for your patriotic friends!
