Pixie Knot Bonnet Pattern

My family love bonnets and I've always liked pixie style bonnets as they seem really cute for babies and toddlers and when I saw this stitch I just knew exactly how it had to look with a wide garter stitch to stay close to the face.

It's fun to knit and there are two choices of neckband which look the same. The first consists of picking up the stitches as you knit sideways because I hate sewing seams but then I added a simple garter stitch band method which is much easier for those who want to finish quickly.
