Gaon Cardigan

Inspired by the silhouette of Korean Jeogori, the Gaon Cardigan is a seamed, bottom-up cardigan featuring three-by-one texture all over and a button band worked up at the same time. The back panel, front left panel, and front right panels are worked separately, with the button band being worked with the front panels, then seamed to join at the sides, and joined with the three-needle bind-off at the shoulders. The button band is then finished to the back neck. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round from the armholes, and short rows are added to shape the shoulder and create a comfortable fit.
