Named for Frontenac County in Eastern Ontario, these gloves are designed with cold Canadian winters in mind. They are knit using a smaller needle size than is usual for a worsted weight yarn in order to create a dense fabric that will block the wind and keep your fingers cozy.
There is something very satisfying about creating a perfectly-fitted glove, so this pattern includes three sizes for palm circumferences from 7–9¼". The two cable patterns are given in both written and chart form.

Notions Cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, yarn needle, locking stitch marker or safety pin (optional)
Gauge 22 sts and 32 rnds = 4" in St st, worked in the rnd. 24 sts and 32 rnds = 4" in Wave Cable pattern.
