What is Being Made
Forever More is a knitted shawl design created by independent designer Justyna Lorkowska in collaboration with Sundara Yarn. This triangular or wrap-style shawl is an accessible beginner-level knitting project that produces a finished piece measuring approximately 50 cm (20 inches) in height with a length of approximately 155 cm (62 inches) along the I-cord edge. The shawl is ideal for knitters new to shawl construction who want to create a wearable, elegant accessory.
Yarn and Materials
The Forever More shawl requires 3 skeins of Aran Silky Merino by Sundara Yarn. This premium yarn blend combines 50% silk with 50% merino wool, offering both luxury and performance. Each skein contains 200 yards and weighs 100 grams. The sample photographed in the pattern was created in the colorway Cobalt over Mediterranean, showcasing the yarn's beautiful color depth and silk-merino blend characteristics.
Knitters will need 5 mm (US #8) circular or straight needles, or whatever needle size is necessary to achieve the correct gauge. Additional notions include 3 stitch markers, a cable needle, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
