What is Being Made

Felix Fox is a knitted cowl designed by Ekaterina Filippova-Blanchard and available through KatyTricot. This project creates a whimsical fox-themed neck accessory worked in one continuous piece. The cowl is constructed by knitting from the front, up and over the shoulders, and down the back, with the back piece matching the front length at the center (including decorative tassels). The design features a distinctive nose section shaped using advanced short-row techniques. Available in two sizes—Toddler and Child—with finished measurements of 8-10 inches (20-25 cm) or 10-20 inches (25-30 cm) shoulder to shoulder width.

Techniques Used
