Easy Cable Mittens

These classic mittens, knit in either worsted or chunky weight yarn,are a great introduction to cables and make a quick and easy gift for everyone on your list (don't forget yourself!) Written for toddler up to large adult.

Instructions are also included for cabling without a cable needle, which makes knitting these fun mittens go even faster.

Sizes: Toddler, Kid, Big Kid/Average Adult, Big Adult

Gauge: 4.5 sts/1" in stockinette (worsted) 3 sts/1" in stockinette (chunky)

Yarn: 100, 125, 150, 175 yards of worsted weight yarn or 75, 100, 125, 150 yards of chunky weight yarn

Needles: Size 8 double-pointed needles for worsted Size 10.5 double-pointed needles for chunky (or size required to get gauge)

Cable needle (also see explanation of Cabling Without A Cable Needle included on pattern)
