Crochet Pawprint Scarf

This pattern is suitable for a confident beginner. The stitch is basic but you need to be familiar with colour changes.

The are two different options for how the scarf can look as shown in the photos. The paws can either be going up on one side of the scarf and down on the other, or the paws can be facing upwards on both sides. The pattern covers both options.

What you'll need to know: You'll need to have knowledge of some basic crochet techniques and stitches, including US half double crochet, slip stitch and colour changes. The pattern includes links to useful tutorials.

What you'll need: • Yarn: I used paintbox aran yarn, but you can use any type of yarn you wish, the sizing may come out slightly different though. • Scissors • Darning/tapestry needle • 4.5mm crochet hook (or recommended hook size for yarn)
