Blooming in the Mist 霧中花開

I love the atmosphere in the early morning. The low temperature at night increases the humidity. The fog clouds everything. One can only see the shade of the plants nearby. And this is how I got the inspiration of Blooming in the Mist.

Blooming in the Mist is a crescent shape shawl worked from one side to the other using short row technique. The seed stitch background mimics the texture of mist, while everything goes obscured. And the bobbles and knit stitches are used to form the shape of plants or water drops.

The pattern is only in written instruction. Sample used 2 colors, one for main color and one for contrast colors of Rot & Weiß - Donegal

You can use any fingering/SOCK weight yarn for this shawl. You will need 1100m for MC and 250m for CC.

山上帶著霧氣的清晨，讓周遭的一切都變得朦朧，那種只能依稀看見植物影子，無法分辨是草花上的花朵，還是露珠的夢境感，是霧中花開的靈感來源。

霧中花開，是利用短行編技巧，從一側織到另一側的弧形的長披肩。披肩以桂花針作為背景，模仿朦朧的霧中質感，而球型針與下針，用於模擬植物，或是水滴的剪影。

織圖為敘述式，會包含重要步驟的相片說明。示範樣品以阿紅與阿雪 - 英國花呢製作。在線材上，建議選擇捻度不高的羊毛線，在下水後，可以達到朦朧的效果。
