Product Description
The Aruba Top, featuring cable patterns under the armholes, is knitted seamlessly top-down starting at the narrow shoulder line (French shoulder) in the upper back. The upper back section is worked in rows up to the armholes. The shoulders are shaped by increases in both the right-side and wrong-side rows.
Both front shoulder pieces are knitted by picking up stitches along the shoulder line in the back and joined then together below the neckline. Once the increases at the armholes are completed, the front and back are joined and knitted in round. A cable pattern is worked beneath each armhole. Finally, the work is divided in the middle of the cable pattern, and the ribbed cuff is knitted in rows. The neckline and sleeve cuffs are knitted on afterward.
The design is simple, modern, and timeless.
The top has a positive ease of about 6 cm for sizes XXS up to M and 4 cm for sizes L to XXL.
