I was looking for projects to make for Christmas presents and I know I can always find a large variety of patterns and yarn here...this poncho is going to be a gift for my sister-in-law...
The pattern construction instructions were not good.
Easy to follow pattern. Worked up quickly.

The pattern needs to state whether it is American or English - I assumed English, and the sizing was all wrong - I only figured this out 20 rows in, so had to undo it all and start again. It was over a DC - a double crochet - one is no yarn over hook before inserting into stitch, one is yarn over before inserting into stitch - makes a big difference.
