That definition is the reason it suits projects where the stitches are the point: amigurumi and toys, market bags and baskets, and homeware that needs to keep its shape. It works up at a worsted weight, so pieces grow quickly without losing detail.
It is also a practical everyday cotton. Machine washable at 40°C (105°F) and safe to tumble dry on a low heat, it stands up to baby items, kitchen and bathroom makes, and anything that gets handled often.

Make a simple summer tops with Lionbrand 24/8 cotton. Great drape and very comfortable. Washed up nicely too.
Excellent customer service
Excellent yarn. I love to work with it. However - there is a new production site for the 24/7 and the skeins I recently received (from this new site) are more shiny (which is a plus), but on the other hand the yarn seems to be thinner and of lower weight, compared to previous batches from the former production site in Mexico. One should to consider that for larger projects - the structure of the newly produced yarn may not exactly fit to older batches.
Excellent quality yarn, right thickness, colour is better then on picture, very pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend. Quite expensive, try to buy on offer

I live in the U.K. and have been using Lion Brand 24/7 100% mercerised cotton yarn to crochet Net Market bags, fantastic results all round only drawback it not always available online or in shops! I cannot find any suitable substitute for it they just don't turn out as well.
