This pattern creates a fun and fanciful blanket or throw that provides a bit of Celtic charm as well as warmth. Included with the pattern is an alternate version plus a bonus scarf taken from the blanket's stitch design.
Knitting Know-how: basic knitting and purling, plus knowledge of cables and slipped stitches (pattern is chartedonly with limited written instructions).
Materials needed: Approximately 3,000 yards of yarn (for blanket, less for throw), US 10, 10.5 or US 11 47-60" circular needle, cable needle, stitch markers and row counter
