Going to Disney world in Florida at the end of the week and currently very cold, could be down to -4 (feel like -13) Celsius at night so made some hats to take. This is the Prince Charming carousel one for magic kingdom based on a pattern of the Disneyland California carousel in the Nancy Bates knitting California book (also can buy as standalone pattern on ravelry online). Like my other hats from this book I used DK on 4mm straight needles (not worsted in the round) so did four chart repeats. Used 3mm seed beads for eyes and added sequins/flower diamonte on back as saddle. Also added my own simple heart intarsia band near the bottom from my frozen patterns previously. Used some glittery wool but doesn’t always show up well on photos. Beautiful Pom Pom from Boyes attached with ribbons in centre and can be removed for washing
